about
My name is Paul and this is where I keep my work. I'm a Multimedia Design graduate, a bit of a geek (still so much that I want to learn!) the owner of a very ecclectic taste in music.
I recently joined the Army but after 2 months in training it was apparant that it was not the life for me, so here I am back at my Mac once again. I currently undertake projects via Longfield Design, but I'm also keeping an eye open for any full-time positions that would let me share what I know and go on to learn more.
If you have any questions about any of the projects on here, or you have a project you think I can help you with, get in touch.
websites
Developing the ability to create websites was the driving force that took me through 5 years of college and university, and it is a passion that still burns bright inside of me. Now that I have the knowledge, I like to put it to use by creating websites for others, helping them to get themselves and their businesses online.
The projects listed below have been created using either a combination of HTML & CSS or through the use of Flash and some Actionscript. I continue to apply both methods to my workload as appropriate, although I do have a bit of a personal preference for writing HTML & CSS.
graphics
Having been an art student for most, if not all, of my educational life, creating images has been something that I have been doing for many, many years now.
Having Photoshop and Illustrator in my list of mediums has meant that a lot of projects spend a portion of their life being created as an digital image before being coded into the relevant format.
A few clients have asked me to create various graphics for them as can be seen below.

Knowledge is Power. I personally believe that it is worth something about everything - where possible. With this in mind, I've played with a variety of formats and will hopefully continue to do so.
These are various bits and pieces that I have created, mostly during my time at university. They have all been created with various software and different coding languages but all serve as a little insight into my perspective on the world.
Some of these pieces are merely concepts that I came up with but haven't yet been able to pursue.
