Architectures of Time - Flash, 3DSMax, Photoshop

Architectures of Time was a research project that had me looking at the works of net.artist's Vuk Cosic and Heath Bunting.

Working with another student, we analysed the works of our seperate artists/designers and concluded that there were elements of net.art that had begun to creep into the corporate design world.

Alongside the research, we also had to create a map of our research. For my map I created an abstract 3D render of a 'city' with each building representing a website or book that had been of use. The height of each building became representational of the depth & number of pages that I read into that particular source.

Users can click through the numerical buttons to visit sources in the same sequence that I did during my research, or they can select a building from the city and make thir own voyage of discovery.
